Difficult Conversation

It's not easy for me to say this…but I think it's time, overdue even, for us to have a difficult conversation.

When we first met, I was intrigued by your versatility and popularity, and I thought you were perfect for me. I hoped you'd inspire me, selfish as that may be.

But, as time has gone on, I've begun to realize that there's a serious flaw, a hurdle that I can't overcome. This relationship isn't all I hoped it would be and I can't keep pretending that this is working, when it's clearly not.

I'm sorry, avocados, your taste simply isn't for me.
