Moar Curvy Girls on the Scene
This is the third post in which I’m going to be talking about curvy, made to move barbies. I’m not going to lie, I’m thrilled that Mattel is coming out with more curvy girls that have 22 points of articulation. Would I love to see more variety? Yes, absolutely, but each curvy, articulated doll they come out with is a step in the right direction.
This particular doll has a fabulous head of hair – I love those strawberry blonde locks. Oh, the lovely creatures that Betty could conjure with this doll!
My wish list for articulated dolls remains the same: male and female dolls with MtM level articulation, different heights, and different body shapes (tall curvy, petite curvy, etc), and a rainbow of both hair and skin tones. Strawberry blonde? Checked off the list. Well done, Mattel.
While I was very much on the fence with whether or not I should get one of the pink-haired dancer barbies, I’m not on the fence with this one. In fact, before I wrote this post, I placed an order for this doll.
As always, thanks for reading. Do you have this doll? Have you repainted her? I’d love to see the results. I’ll see you in the comments section :)
