That's Disappointing :(
I was hoping today would be the day I got to share with you the unboxing of the San Diego Comic Con 2016 She-Ra doll. I found a seller on Ebay that had some of them up for…well, quite a hefty sum, but I was a big She-Ra fan as a child and I love the variety in doll bodies. Anyway, my birthday present (ordered so it would arrive in August, my birth month), never got here.
When I reached out to Ebay, after the seller didn’t respond to my mails, they said they would speak to them. The seller then agreed to send out two replacements (one meant to remain boxed, the other intended for repainting), with tracking numbers, that were supposed to arrive last week.
Color me disappointed, but they never got here.
I contacted Ebay’s customer support again with the issue, pointing out that no tracking information was ever given – a number was given, but no carrier, and post nord, DHL, FedEx, and UPS had no corresponding numbers. They put me on hold (yes, I actually called) and, at the end of a fifteen-minute wait, I was granted a full refund for the dolls + all the shipping fees I incurred. When I went to look at the seller’s profile again, it was gone. I’m guessing I wasn’t the only one to have experienced this.
I wonder how many others didn’t get their She-Ra dolls :(
Yes, I could order another one – but the second-lowest price I can find is over double the price with triple the shipping and handling, putting it way out of my price range. I don’t know who has 2,000+ DKK to spend on a doll, but sadly, it’s not me.
Sigh, maybe next time. If anyone sees one of these dolls, even second-hand and de-boxed, please let me know. I’m still interested.
