A Second Interview...

Well, I’ve officially been called back in for my second interview and to say I’m nervous would be an understatement. I don’t do well in interviews.

On the plus side, now that I’ve been in the office and seen what people are wearing, I have a slightly better idea of what I can get away with, office-wear wise. It’s a good thing they’re more on the casual side of business casual, because I don’t have a whole lot of purely office wear.

I’m working with two blazers, two pairs of dress slacks, and three pencil skirts. I’m going to need to alternate them like crazy. I’ll try to only wear my jeans sparingly, and only ever when I’m wearing a blazer. I also have a few dresses that might work.

The impulse to buy new clothes is strong and I’m doing my best to resist it. The priority, right now, needs to be saving up while Cole and I look for someplace that has more room – at least enough to get our things out of storage.

This won’t exactly be a capsule wardrobe, because I’m not limiting myself to twelve or fewer pieces; in fact, I’ve got access to everything you see here – and everything you don’t.
