Introducing Logan
I’m sure some of you can already see which doll was used for this repaint, but for the rest of you, I’ll put you out of suspenseful misery right now:
That’s right, Logan is a repainted BMR1959 Ken doll.
I’ll undoubtedly get a little heat for removing his hair and having him repainted so plainly compared to his fierce factory makeup. That said, I’ve wanted a bald, male doll for quite some time. I’d found a couple of possibilities, but the BMR1959 doll was just what I’d been waiting for.
Fully articulated, lovely jawline, and a body somewhere between a fashionista and a superhero. Too good to pass up the opportunity on the off chance I might be able to dodge anonymous judgement from someone on the internet.
I was nervous simply assigning him a name and deciding he’d be Moira’s hubby before I’d even seen his repaint.
But, after these photos, I’m confident in my decision.
Don’t they look great together?
Because he’s a BMR1959 body base, he has made to move/yoga level articulation, which is going to make posing him much easier. Huzzah for articulation. His ability to stand is hit or miss - compared to Cole, he is clumsy AF and compared to Nicholai, he’s a pillar.
I’m lucky as I also have someone writing him/his comments, so he’s got a personality all his own, which isn’t something I wasn’t able to have with non-main characters in the past. So, watch out, you might be hearing from Logan in the near future.
Thanks for stopping in, I’ll see you next time.
