Goodbye, Nichelle

I’m sure I’m not alone in mourning the loss of Nichelle Nichols. For those who were unaware, the actress and civil rights activist passed away on July 30th. For me, she’ll always be known as Uhura from the original Star Trek series. Today, I thought I’d share a few promotional images of the doll she inspired:
