Dollhouse Gardening
If you couldn’t tell from this post, this post, this post, or this post - I have a deep love for plants! My big person house is filled with them (the real kind), so why not sprinkle some greenery throughout my doll's house too?
During my travels in Bangkok, I stumbled upon something utterly unexpected (if I were Columbus, I’d call it a ‘discovery’): Miniverse Plants!
Yes, you heard that right, Miniverse now does plants! While I was aware of their food, kitchen diorama, and fashion collections, this new addition got me buzzing with excitement. Upon returning to Copenhagen, I eagerly searched local stores (to no avail) and reluctantly resorted to ordering some from Amazon. Oh well, one must adapt.
I couldn’t contain my excitement and shared a snippet on Instagram. But fear not, for those who prefer pictures over video, I’ve got you covered:
Isn't the packaging just adorable?
Let's dive into the treasures I unwrapped:
First up is this charming farmhouse-style cottagecore piece. I already have the perfect spot picked out for it. And those flower stems? Longer than shown, but I trimmed them for fit. It also came with a miniature green bottle labeled “water” and a little tool set that I’ve already managed to misplace.
Next up: this darling hummingbird feeder, complete with a micro-tiny hummingbird (translation: highly prone to getting lost). If you have small children or pets that eat anything that falls on the floor, please be careful, this all looks very swallowable.
But wait, there's more avian delight! I also received this adorable birdhouse, complete with the cutest chickadee ever (apologies for the blur in the second image, tremors got the best of me by then).
And finally, the pièce de résistance: the orchid I had been eagerly anticipating.
It comes with separate components for assembly, including the stabilizing stick, bowl, and rocks, the end result is simply exquisite.
Overall, I'm thrilled with what Miniverse has to offer in their plant collection so far. Here's hoping they continue to expand their range, because more plants mean more joy.
Have a lovely week.
