Date Night Possibility

Date Night Possibility

I’m a big believer in appreciating your special someone throughout the year, not just on Valentine’s Day, their birthday, or an anniversary.

That being said, it’s a nice excuse for love notes, date night, or a weekend getaway.  Cole and I generally keep things pretty relaxed, just the two of us.  This year, though, Cole wants to take me out “somewhere nice”.

Now, Copenhagen is fairly laid back as far as clothing guidelines go.While eating out, even at a nicer place, jeans and an attractive blouse, especially when paired with a blazer, would be ample for most places.Even so, he did say I should dress it up a bit, so I might as well play around with my wardrobe.

If all else fails, I always have the little black dress to fall back on if I feel the need.Today, though, I thought I’d go ahead and see what else I could put together.

I started with a classic staple:  a black pencil skirt, added black pumps, and decided to try on a bunch of blouses to see what, if anything, caught my fancy.

The cutest look, by far, was the addition of this blouse by Levitation Fashion.  The top has almost a “country” feel to it, adding just a dash of wholesome to an otherwise neutral look.  The pattern, cut, and lace are all charming.  The maroon color almost contrasts with the feel of the blouse, but it somehow works out perfectly.

The result, to my eyes, is irresistible – and yes, I very much want to appear irresistible when out on the town with my man.  While it may not be the ensamble I end up wearing, it’s certainly worthy of a date night, never a bad thing to have on hand.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Valentine’s Day :)
