Capsule Wardrobe # 27 & 28
Today I styled both Willow and Anne, pushing each of them slightly out of their comfort zones, but keeping their personal aesthetic in mind. After the last week and a half, I just felt like hiding behind the camera today rather than posing in front of it.
I know Anne is a sucker for that floral print, and she likes soft, feminine looks. She’s not especially thrilled with heels or pencil skirts, but I think she looks fantastic all the same. Then again, when does she ever not look great? She liked the pearls, and felt they rounded out the overall look nicely (I agree).
As to Willow, I wanted to keep her comfortable, without making her feel “frumptastic”—which is how she describes the feeling in most maxi dresses. With curve hugging black leggings and a matching blouse, nothing here looks frumpy.
I topped things off with the beautiful, forest green cardigan and, for a little extra pep and color, the rainbow scarf.
They were only able to stay long enough to get one outfit each today—awww—so it looks like it’s up to me to pose for the last two outfit photos. Blerg. Still, reaching the goal is going to feel good.
Thirty outfits in thirty days, here we come!
Thank you, ladies, for being both muse and model - much love :)
